Excellent place to stay!!! We had a group of 16 people and two dogs. More than enough room for everyone. Loved the open main floor and all the fun games in the garage. Would highly recommend the place and would definitely go back.
The house is great and the hosts did a nice job preparing it. It's a beautiful location and can comfortably accommodate a lot of people. Everyone had a good time. My only note would be that the hosts were fairly strict about signing a short-term lease agreement. Most of it was waiving liability, agreeing to the house rules, and listing the names of the guests. They had also initially asked for a security deposit, which they agreed to drop after I declined. I think it's also worth highlighting that if you want to bring pets, they must stay in the attached garage / game room area (which is a very nice, climate controlled space). But pets aren't allowed in the bedrooms or other parts of the main house. I thought these points could have been made a bit clearer in the listing description. But the actual stay was quite pleasant.
Rachel and Reed are wonderful hosts and the home is clean, spacious, picturesque, and comfortable. We had a group of 14 with a mix of children and adults, everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and plenty of activities provided within the home for every age. We highly recommend this home and would stay again ourselves. 5 out of 5 starts all around!
Hosts communicated quickly throughout the process. We liked the space in the house. I liked all the outdoor seating. I liked the activities provided (game room, canoe, kayaks, dock, fire pit). I liked the second refrigerator in the game room. I did not like the bathrooms, specifically the broken shower/tub faucet in upper bathroom making water temp adjustment difficult. The downstairs tub didn’t drain well. The kitchen faucet handle was loose and sloppy. Kitchen window crank handles missing and had to be moved to open windows. Big Swan Lake is not a good fishing lake, that was disappointing. We felt the price was on the high end and for that reason there shouldn’t have been things putzy or not working properly. All in all we enjoyed our stay but not sure that we would return.

自我介绍
We both grew up in rural MN with a love of being in the outdoors year-round, and believe our property offers you great opportunities to do the same! The North Shore (Lake Superior) is one of our favorite in-state destinations, but we also love to explore new areas of the country when we can get away. Rachel went to college in Iowa and after graduation worked/lived in the Mpls suburbs, as well as West/Des Moines, in a variety of industries: communications, politics/government, sales, marketing. Reed's background is in building/construction/real estate/energy and home improvement. Our reading/entertainment interests are varied. We grew up in the same hometown but didn't meet until 2006, and married a couple of years later. We both enjoy history, learning, and personal/spiritual growth. Our cooking tastes lean towards homemade using homegrown, but we're always up for finding really good restaurants and are blessed to have some in our area! Most of our time is spent at our peaceful lake setting, but we enjoy getting out frequently to take our dogs for long walks, runs and hikes. Evenings can find us in the garden or enjoying a sunset around a campfire. We both enjoy road trips around MN and the beautiful U.S., but look forward to worldwide travel and experiences when we can make it happen.
