La maison de Sergio et Amelia est très bien située à 2 pas de la plage de sable ou l’on accède par un chemin de terre à pied ce qui est très pratique pour les enfants. Les commerces sont à 5 minutes en voiture ce qui est très pratique. Elle est située dans une forêt d’eucalyptus avec peu de maisons autour. Les 7 chambres sont idéales pour les grandes familles comme la nôtre avec ses 7 salles de bains et wc. Les literies sont très confortables. Par contre cette jolie maison mériterait d’être rénovée notamment la cuisine et les appareils ménagers. Elle doit être très agréable l’été car très ombragée, un peu sombre fin octobre mais les chambres sont chauffées et la cheminée fonctionne très bien. Deux bémols: le plus important la sécurité pour les petits n’est pas du tout suffisante, la piscine n’est pas clôturée et le jardin ne ferme pas. L’autre est la complexité du système de tri des déchets!! Malgré ces inconvénients auxquels Sergio a remédié du mieux qu’il a pu nous avons tous apprécié notre séjour chez Amelia et Sergio. Sergio est joignable à tout instant et il est extrêmement disponible. Merci à lui pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.

The location of this house is very good as it is very close to the beach and in a nice setting with lots of shady trees. Also, the house has a very nice pool and terrace with lounge furniture. Unfortunately, when we stayed at the house there was a lot of things that were out of order and needed to be fixed: aircondition not working in one room (the room feeling vey moist all week), a very smelly drain, no warm water, dishwasher not working properly etc. and we spent a lot of time with the owner to get the things fixed. The owner is talking about work that will be done later this year to improve things around the house. That would be good both for the house and for future guests staying at the house, I think.

Amelia and Sergio’s villa is a fabulous rustic place to stay really close to a beach which was deserted apart from kite surfers! Valledoria was about a 15 minute walk from the villa although we did hire cars as carrying heavy shopping was not an easy feat. Taxis and public transport didn’t seem to be an option. 10 of us stayed (all adults) and it was great for us all to have our own facilities. Because we stayed out of season a lot of the restaurants close by were closed, but we did have a couple of great cooks with us so we only ate out once at the pizzeria nearby, which was a great evening. Amelia and Sergio organised a wine tour at Cantina Ligios and we all had a superb evening and we would certainly recommend this tour if you stay at the villa. Carmella and Bastion were fantastic hosts throughout the tour. Amelia and Sergio also organised our transport to and from Olibia airport and the vineyard which was fantastic, not to mention taking a few of us to pick up our first shop! There is a little bar about a 3 minute walk from the villa where we spent a couple of hours just chatting, chilling and soaking up the sun and the hosts there couldn’t do enough for us. Amelia and Sergio were also on the end of the phone and responded to text and email very quickly.

The house functioned well with a large family group of 14. The pool and the beach were very popular and we can recommend the property if you enjoy a laid-back environment
