Do not book this place at all it is filthy and unsanitary that’s why it’s only 50$ it’s other people who stay there as well and they are noisy.!! The smell in the room made me throw up I had too book a hotel and leave asap because it was not giving.!! The room was freezing cold no type of heat and the bathroom was dirty. Save yourself the money and do not book

You definitely pay for what you get. As the host stated in their description, this listing is very basic and there should be no expectations of anything other. Room and bed linens were clean and bed was comfy. Not sure if the room is in the middle of being repainted but half the walls are painted one color with a name painted in very large letters across one wall. Hole in the wall near the head of the bed and the window unit was removed from the window and on the floor in the corner. It was very cold and there was no heater but the host did provide an extra blanket on the bed. Shared bathroom was not the cleanest but shower was a decent size with good water pressure and lots of hot water. Did not have any issues accessing it. Host was very kind and responsive. I had read the description and knew I wasn’t renting anything fancy so as long as you go in without any expectations, you should be good. I stayed here to get some sleep between work shifts and it met my needs.

I can tolorate a lot having grown up in a large family. The dowstairs toilet was broken with no toilet paper in it, which sucked as the first toilet i found, when i came in and needed one after my 2 1/2 hr trip. No sign to indicate it was broken either. Up stairs one worked, had paper, was small and gross. A bed and box spring laying on its side - in a pile? - of other stuff, in the living area. I dont even understand, honestly. I didnt bother with the kitchen so i have no real idea what that was like. My attic bedroom was tiny as indicated, but not basic - with furniture in it that should be in the trash. The bed was ok with a sheet and light blanket. Nothing to add to that available. I was cold so i turned off the working window unit, which meant that the other guests kept waking me till about 2 am - up and down the steps - with music on and no thought to closing doors lightly or stepping lightly. And there is just no sleeping well when your trying to fall asleep at 2 am and you gotta get up at 8. My impression is there is almost no energy put into making this place remotly comfy or homey. This is quick money maker and there are no boundaries installed for guests, especially long term ones, which i believe there must be a few. So you are possibly sharing space with people who pay to LIVE here and have no investment in the place and dont care what your stay is like, let alone their own. I was suppose to stay 3 nights and got a refund in the morning for my 2 nights I cancled. My need to be comfortable was not going to be met here. I did not feel entirly safe either, but that is a subjective perspective.
