Honey House was the highlight of our lodging during our three-week trip through the region. The setting in the Istrian countryside is stunning. The house itself is beautifully and comfortably appointed as well as meticulously maintained. We wish that we'd had warmer weather so that we could enjoy the pool, but even sitting on the pool deck was a delight. Having several different comfortable seating areas, including inside with the windows open and nice screens keeping out flies, was lovely. Although there are nearby neighbors, the fence and gate offer privacy. Nikolina is a thoughtful host, offering many excellent suggestions for dining and activities, as well as always being only a text away for questions. If your goal is to truly get away from it all while still being a short drive away from the delights of Istria, this is a fantastic choice.

Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und Nikolina hat gute Tips zur Umgebung geben. 😊 100% empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Das Haus ist sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Nikolina und ihre Eltern sind sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich direkt wie zuhause. Wir haben sehr gute Tipps für Restaurants in der Umgebung sowie gute Weinempfehlungen bekommen. Als willkommensgeschenk standen ein Wein, Olivenöl und Pralinen bereit, was uns sehr gefreut hat!

Wir haben die Zeit im Honey-House sehr genossen. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage und Ausstattung. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch unsere beiden Kinder haben sich mit Pool, Dart, Tischfußball und anderen vorhandenen Spielen ebenfalls pudelwohl gefühlt. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen und würden dort jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub verbringen. Einen großen Dank auch an Nikolina und ihre Eltern, die uns den Aufenthalt mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit versüßt haben, im wahrsten Sinne ;).

This was the most beautiful, clean and charming place we have ever stayed. We wanted to move to the Honey House. Nikolina was super responsive and her parents were very generous! They shared their honey, olive oil and homemade wine with us. You will definitely need a car but it’s easy to get around and we visited Porec, Vasar, Rovinj and Pula…when we weren’t cycling along the country roads. The best restaurant was only a 10 minute drive to Mrgani 42. We had such a wonderful time…150% recommend. The pool was pristine and a lovely place to hang out at the end of the day. The pictures are very accurate. Super quiet in a lovely hamlet with a grocery store within a 15 minute drive. Kitchen is well equipped. You won’t be disappointed!!
