This house was absolutely perfect. You are truly immersed in beautiful landscape and scenery. The host Sandrine was more than helpful, she went above and beyond. Sandrine your home made jam was exquisite! The place is perfect for a family with plenty of games boules and ping Pong along with thr swimming pool. Clean on arrival, everything you could possibly need was there. We cannot fault this property and look forward to booking again in the future. A truly fabulous accomodation.

Bel environnement pour cette authentique maison du Périgord avec sa piscine à débordement donnant sur la vallée. Nous avons apprécié les grands espaces des chambres et des pièces de vie pour permettre à trois générations de passer d'excellents moments. Les hôtes Sandrine et Laurent ont consacré beaucoup de temps à la visite de la demeure et nous ont donné conseils et informations pour bien apprécier notre séjour Excellente expérience à recommander

We zijn erg enthousiast. Het verblijf was erg mooi, rustig en verzorgd. De communicatie met Sandrine was hartelijk en vlot. Dankzij haar tips hebben we de regio op een mooie manier kunnen verkennen. Geen minpunten, een dikke aanrader!

Such a fantastic house & barn - perfect for two families. One family of four stayed in the main house & one family of three in the barn. We had a wonderful stay. The house & pool are even better than the photos! A fabulous location too, the village of St Alvere has a Monday market which is lovely & it’s an amazing area; packed with chateaus, wineries & interesting places to see. I would highly recommend Sandrine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing break in the beautiful Perigord region. Thank you Sandrine & Laurent!

I spent a week here with my husband , two children and my mother and father in law. There is lots of space for everyone and we didn’t even need to use the annex, as lovely as it was. The surroundings are beautiful, with lots of wildlife. We particularly loved seeing red deer and fawn in the field by the garden. The pool is a great size, but that and the pool area could do with a bit of TLC. Jet washing the slabs, weeding etc.. the garden/grounds need a bit of tidying/maintenance etc. We had everything we needed in the house, all very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We arrived after local shops had shut, and Sandrine kindly bought us some food which we really appreciated. Her husband also managed to get us some wine. Communication was a bit of a struggle, our French is pretty much zero, and their English was also limited. Saint Alvere is beautiful, with a few shops and restaurants. We did walk there one day, which was lovely and took about 40 minutes. Thank you
