An excellent host, met us at the airport, we were an hour late, waited for us to collect the hire car (a must to discover this gem of an island), then on to a supermarket before taking us to the house. What a house and setting, absolutely perfect position away from the busy tourist areas set amidst beautiful mountains with an easy climb by foot to the local village via a track from the house or by track by car through the valley. The house is lovely with a really welcoming pool after a days driving on the many twisty roads throughout the island some paved some just tracks. We were out almost everyday exploring via many of the narrow hairpin bend roads which crisscross the island, all very well paved but be aware gravel tracks also have road numbers which just added to the driving excitement. Thank Ramon for a superb holiday.

we werden uitstekend ontvangen op het vliegveld en begeleid naar het huisje, wat erg prettig was. het laatste stuk naar het huisje is bij aankomst in het donker moeilijk te vinden. we werden perfect naar de bestemming gebracht en attent ontvangen met fruit en wijn! perfecte host en fijn huis!

La casa es Magnífica, alejada de todo pero con todo lo necesario para no echar nada de menos. Una gozada, el paisaje, los detalles, la tranquilidad. Hace falta coche para llegar y si es alto, mejor, ya que el camino es pedregoso. Muy recomendable.

Das Haus entsprach voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen- sowohl bezüglich der Lage und Größe, als auch der Ausstattung (an alles ist gedacht; nur eine Spülmaschine gibt es nicht). Die tolle Ruhe und Alleinlage wird mit einer etwas mühsamen, teils engen, teils sehr steilen Auto-Anfahrt auf den letzten 1-2 km erkauft (ist es aber wert). Wer gut zu Fuß ist und einen steinigen Anstieg nicht scheut, findet im oberhalb gelegenen Ort einen gut sortierten SPAR-Markt mit allem, was man so braucht. Dort in der Nähe hält auch der Bus nach Valsquillo bzw. Telde, falls man dass Auto mal stehen lassen will. Von Ramon fühlten wir uns bestens betreut. Positiv überrascht hat uns, dass das Haus nach einer Woche geputzt und Bettwäsche und Handtücher getauscht wurden.

Ramon’s was one of the best host we’ve ever had! He personally met us late in the evening to have us follow him back to the house so we wouldn’t get lost. And it isn’t difficult to get lost* When the car rental was closed, he taxied us back with all our luggage. Then drove my husband back in the morning to retrieve our rental car. Ramon had many items of food presented at check in, which was greatly appreciated. The house is lovely, heated and super clean. Everything worked, we had no reason to require any other assistance from Ramon. The beds were very comfortable in the two double rooms. Lots of hot water with strong pressure. It was warm and sunny the last few days so we used the nice clean and slightly heated pool. There’s a view over the valley with a snippet of ocean in the distance. A private local. We enjoyed our week…with only two criticisms. Ramon made an unannounced visit to water outdoor plants, which caught us off guard. The drive up to the house is long and sketchy.
