One of the best places we've ever stayed! Hosts made us feel right at home and gave great local tips. The property itself is such an amazing building and the beds were very comfortable. Most of all the people and atmosphere top off what'sa really well setup and run business by a great family.

If I could’ve stayed at Robert’s place longer, I definitely would! Such a beautiful hostel and very clean! I had a queen private room and it was decorated so beautifully and it had a fireplace in it. The shiplap walls and ceilings and iron light fixture added the perfect touch! It was quiet the night I stayed. I didn’t mind the communal bathrooms. They were clean with plenty of towels and bath wash. The neighborhood is nice and safe and very much walkable. I came to visit the Ground Zero Blues Club and walked from the hostel down the street to the club. So much history in the area! I even got to meet Cadillac John-the oldest performing blues musician who is 96 years old! The owner of Cat Head told me that the hostel is the only one in Mississippi and I think that’s cool! I do want to note that all of the rooms are on one level and you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to them as there is no elevator. Robert was a lovely host! I’ll definitely be back! 10/10 ❤️

If I could give Robert and Lucy’s hostel 10 stars I absolutely would! Clarksdale has been the highlight of our trip and although we didn’t meet Robert, Lucy was simply fantastic. She was much more than a host and was more of a friend and we enjoyed spending time with Lucy, having drinks and enjoying the wonderful music Clarksdale lives and breathes for. Lucy went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one and even helped us with recommendations for further along our trip visiting New Orleans and gulf shores. We would both love to return to Clarksdale again as we fell in love with it and if/when we do, we will definitely be returning to Lucy and Robert’s hostel. Thank you so much for making our time so special. We miss you already!!! Claire and Paige :)
