Polly's flat is right in the centre of town and with free parking. We didn't need to use our car all weekend to get to the various places of interest. The flat was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Polly has some interesting paintings, furniture and ornaments that add character to the flat. Lots of maps and books of walks. Lovely little garden at the back to sit and have a coffee. We would certainly stay again
Polly’s beautiful emporium of wonder was located in the most convenient place for every type of holiday maker; beautiful walks in one direction, the cathedral in another & the centre in another! If you didn’t feel like going out for the day, Polly’s home felt like your own thanks to the array of interesting things and comforting decor. The sound system is incredible too. Should we return to Winch we’ll 100% stay here again if it’s available. Couple bits of taxidermy might be the only thing to deter some folks but we loved it & it’s really quite endearing. Polly is also an amazing host with plenty of knowledge of hotspots in the city. Thank you Polly!
Great location for a weekend away exploring Winchester - really short walk to the centre and the cathedral. Polly gave us some fantastic recommendations too of local pubs and spots. The place is full of character and curiosities, definitely a unique place to stay and would definitely recommend!

My name is Polly and I am a musician, artist and freelance creative. I have lived in this flat for 10 years and was born in Winchester so I know the City very well. I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time walking, swimming, cycling and running. I have a studio out in a beautiful village called Bramdean where I paint, make costumes and do leather work. I also work as theatrical practitioner/designer and facilitate workshops. Music and singing is a big passion of mine. I am in a number of bands and love to spend as much time as possible playing gigs and making albums.
