One of the nicest places I've stayed at! It's very private and located in the middle of the jungle. Just what we were looking for as naturalists. But you have to be prepared for wild ants and other bugs around. They are coming from the forest. You have to have a car to get to the place. The host is very responsive and willing to help. We had an accident during our stay: a huge branch fell on the electric line just 10 m near the cabin. The same evening it was fixed. I will definitely return on my next occasion 👍

This is a great, unique stay. The bed was super comfy and it was amazing to wake up and literally see the rainforest through every window and read a book on the balcony. So nice to have a cheese plate in the evening and listen to the animals. It's remote but also very well placed, 5 mins to the markets/town and only 30 mins to the beaches. We cooked meals and found the air fryer handy. Nice hot shower as well

We had a wonderful stay. Leonie was communicative and accomodating, even when we needed to move to a different room she went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. The property is absolutely stunning and a lovely space to relax

Loved our stay at the Cassowary House! Cozy accommodations. Wonderful environment! Great birding and wildlife outside of the door. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

We highly recommend this quaint little hut nestled amongst the rainforest. It is very private and peaceful. The back balcony looks out into the rainforest with the added bonus of a view of the creek below. The bird life is plentiful, yet very elusive. We were booked for three nights, yet we would have stayed another three if it was vacant. Thank you Leonie.
