Harkers Island is a quaint "Down East" homey destination place! Exactly the way I imagined it to be!!! Everyone we encountered was very Friendly! "Pelican Place" is Bright & Cheerful just as pictured, the home is extremely clean and very comfortable. The cottage is set back a bit from main road which makes it very private, quiet & peaceful.... Queen Bed in Master Bedroom is so amazingly comfortable..... my husband and I slept so well (very unusual for us). Richard is very nice and communicated well. Our dog, Ringo, was also very at home in his new surroundings. We enjoyed our stay so much, we'd definitely stay here again(WE didn't want to leave) If it's a clear night be sure to check out the dazzling star lit sky....unbelievably beautiful!! Thank you, Richard, for offering such a affordable/comfy vacation cottage.
