This is our second time visiting Michael’s beautiful cottage. We absolutely love making the trip here, the gardens have grown so much between trips so it’s even more private now. We had mishap with the pooch and Michael was very understanding. I can’t fault this property, it has everything for the perfect getaway.

Michaels place was very reasonably priced especially as it was school holidays for Queenslanders. His place was more reasonable than a small chalet at a caravan park. Those chalets have their place & advantages but if you’re after a spacious, peaceful & dog friendly accomodation - its here. The fully fenced yard was generous backs onto the Clarence River-magicalOur bull mastiff loved it. Michael was friendly, responsive to messages, open to last minute bookings and an extended stay . His place was beautifully set out, with everything you need and i loved how there was a coffee machine as you are at least 10 km from a coffee shop. Personally coming from Brisbane i loved the serenity, the isolation from the hustle and bustle, not hearing any sirens or hoons on the road. I crave peace and quiet and it’s a beautiful place to fill your cup. I would love to go back with my art supplies and have a sebatical there. The additional outdoor bathroom was a beautiful touch as well . Thank you Mike

We love this place!! Such beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Beautiful space with loads of room and modern fixtures and fittings. Outdoor bath, bbq and fire-pit to make the best of the lovely outdoor space. Indoor highlights for me- amazing shower pressure and huge smart-tv (which u can view while tucked up in bed on rainy days!). Michael is a wonderful host and couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful :)

We loved it so much we have extended our stay and plan to return as well! o many lovely little touches ensure the stay has exceeded our expectations. The space is also very roomy, and beautifully appointed. Beautiful, peaceful rural area surrounded by market gardens and pasture for cattle and horses. Right on the river with a beautiful well-kept private lawn and garden.

Absolutely perfect!! Beautiful, light airy and roomy studio apartment. Beautifully furnished and decorated with modern fixtures, a huge bed (great pillows and linen), amazing shower (with option to use huge “rain” fixture), outdoor private bath and shower also. Great a-c and ceiling fans! Beautiful, huge fully fenced garden an lawn space with stunning river views. Michael is an amazing host who has created a really lovely space for guests with so many thoughtful touches. My two little dogs love his beautiful, friendly and gentle dog Emmy who’s a wonderful host for them too! So comfortable, quiet and relaxing we don’t want to leave!! 💕
