Terrific AirB&B experience! We'd return in a heartbeat. Pierre and his family were perfect hosts - we got a full orientation to the house and there were some nice treats and basics stocked for us, and they provided a lot of good local recommendations. Super responsive. The house was perfect for our family of four (two adults, two teens) - plenty of space to come together when we wanted, and privacy when we wanted that, too. It's nicely furnished, well-stocked, and very comfortable. Easy to feel at home. (And hard to leave!) The view is magnificent. Location is very quiet. Even with some local construction you're more likely to notice the sound of the stream near the house or maybe the horn of a ferry crossing the sound. Easy to get into Vancouver or to explore northern points. As others have pointed out, access to the house from the parking area requires a little exercise, so something to consider if there are accessibility needs in your party. Should be fine for most.

This home was absolutely spectacular. The architectural design was amazing and quite complete. Ample space for lounging and enjoying the moment. Fresh bowl of fruit, sodas, coffee cream and other nice amenities were provided. Pierre was available, yet unobtrusive. A wonderful getaway experience. The reviews are all on target. Book this place!

We had a great stay at Pierre's house for a family of four with two young kids. The location is amazing with unobstructed views of the Horseshoe Bay islands as the background for amazing sunsets. The house is spacious, very clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. Pierre was a great host and we were pleasantly surprised with the partially stocked fridge with fruit and local pastries. Pierre and his wife responded quickly to any questions that we had and we had a very easy check in and check out. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay there again when we visit Vancouver.

Pierre was a great host. His home was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped, with a large chef’s kitchen and amazing views. We had a wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful, if off the beaten track, location. The only minor downside was the need to hoof up and down a large hill to our car to get out, but the host (Pierre’s son, Logan) offered to haul our luggage (although we didn’t take him up on it). We were also really pleasantly surprised that the host left us with a partially stocked fridge, including fresh fruit and some pastries, and because they knew we were traveling with kids, they even left coloring books and a craft kit. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. The yard is overgrown as compared with the pictures in the listing, but there was more than enough space for our family of 4 to play. Thank you for a relaxing stay!
