Fantastic Airbnb experience. The villa is the perfect holiday getaway. It’s beautifully decorated and equipped and the property feels very well considered. The layout is perfect for families with young children. Initially we would have preferred an outdoor pool, however, the indoor pool was lovely and warm and being able to lock the door was a godsend. Highly recommend. The kitchen and dinning area is perfect for nestling in to a long time of food and wine. Great access to the bakery, beach, local shops and super markets. The villa was better than expected and very hard to fault. We’ll be back for sure.

La maison est idéalement située au centre le l’île et toute proche de la Cotiniere et de ses poissonneries ! Connectée au réseau de pistes cyclables (l’une passe juste derrière la maison, location de vélos « beach bikes » à 15 minutes à pied sur la commune de Saint Pierre) elle est un point de départ idéal pour découvrir l’île. Proche des plages occidentales (baignables à marée haute) elle n’est pas non plus très loin à vélo de la côte orientale et de ses belles plages sablonneuses (baignables à basse et haute mer). La maison est très bien équipée : nous étions 3 familles (13 personnes au total) et avons pu profiter de ce très bel espace sans jamais nous marcher dessus ! Un vrai régal !

We were very privileged to be the very first family to rent Liliane and Jean-Francois’s beautiful home. The house is stunning and even better than in the pictures! It is a perfect place to relax and to come back to after discovering l’île d’Oleron. Liliane and Jean-Francois are amazing hosts and always happy to help. Not only you will enjoy their beautiful home with a lovely pool and garden but you will also be surrounded by hectares of ‘vignobles’ and only a few minutes walk away from the family’s wine shop “Maxime Pinard” to get your own Cognac, wine or pineau! Such a beautiful place to be. We highly recommend it! Christèle and Sebastien
