We felt right at home the moment we arrived and met Pieter and Maria. Very down to earth and easy/pleasurable to converse with. The Garden Shack's creation was clearly a labour of love, and contained every amenity, including a very well supplied kitchen. The bed was quite comfortable and the evening exceptionally quiet. Watching the lambs frolic through the kitchen window was a fun bonus. Thanks for a great stay!

I could have stayed here for days!! Such a beautiful and serene oasis from city life. Awesome opportunity for young and old to learn more about sustainable and tried and true grass roots farming practices. Left with many memories including a guided visit to meet recently born sheep. Could not have been blessed with better hosts than Pieter and Maria.

Maria & Pieter's Garden Shack is a lovely little place for a family getaway. Our family of four, including two young kids had fun jumping on the trampoline and exploring the farm. The cabin was clean and bright and had thoughtful touches like a few toys for the kids. Maria and Pieter are pro hosts and strike the perfect balance between being friendly and helpful and providing privacy to guests.
