Karine and Maïlie’s apartment is in a charming building and is very centrally located. It has all of the basic necessities and includes a small kitchen and fridge which was helpful. Understandably, the hosts did not speak much English but there were a lot of instructions, so the language barrier was difficult at our arrival. The toilet was not working properly and we had to turn the water on and off for every use, in addition to flushing it. The bathroom is also located in the hallway, so you need to exit the apartment to reach it. It is a very dark hallway and we bought small lights which we recommend doing. There are three cats in the building and we were told they might scratch at the doors, so we had to be very careful to close all of the doors as they were not allowed in the apartment or bathroom. Overall, the location was perfect for our needs and we appreciated the charm in the apartment.
