The neighborhood is great and the host is responsive, but keep in mind that this is a bare-bones level of accommodation. For the price I paid, I'm not complaining, but I wouldn't call this a great place to stay, unfortunately.

My stay at James was great. He quickly accepted my last minute request. The room and bathroom was comfortable and clean. The home is in a a beautiful walkable neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and parks all within a 5 minute walk.

The house is old but nice. Nice neighborhood. My room with the bunks is small, the other one has a queen or king bed. I left at 6 am and got back at 9pm. so for me, as a guy it was ok. I never used the kitchen or the living room. The Place just needs some TLC Tender loving Care and Maintenace. Its all minor things that need to be done. Will I be back, Yes But also Depends on what else is available at the time and what is closer to my job.

I specified in our reservation that there would be two guests and both bunks were made with sheets; despite this, we were only provided with one pillow and I was unable to find any additional pillows. I had to use a blanket as a pillow. The bunk bed is also incredibly creaky; this made it difficult to sleep as both of us were awakened multiple times throughout the night. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're traveling by yourself, in which case these things are much less likely to present an issue.
