This place was heaven. It was hard to leave to go on adventures to explore the Loire because the property was so idyllic. And Patrick, Benny and little Lily dog were just wonderful. We weren’t expecting it to be as incredible as it was but it was beyond our expectations. The Forest at the end of the garden, the big oak tree with swing for the children, the big spacious house with everything we needed inside, it was all perfect. I came with my 3 year old and my friend Olivia and her 6 year old and the kids had so much fun playing outside as did we. Patrick and Benny were so welcoming and warm and interesting and we loved spending time with them. If you’re coming from the UK please bring a newspaper for Benny because shed really appreciate it :) I can’t recommend this place enough, I would love to come back one day soon. Would recommend going to the bar/cave Sauvage near Amboise for amazing wine and small plates of great food and incredible setting on the river. Thank you again ❤️

We loved our stay in Bauley, Patrick, Benny and Lilly ( their delightful little puppy) were ever so welcoming and friendly to us. The house and the gardens are magical. Patrick brings fresh bread every morning and comes and asks if everything is alright every day. We were offered local wine and fruit and vegetables from the orchard. The Loire Valley is an incredibly beautiful place, amazing châteaux and villages. We recommend staying at Bauley and we would love to go back one day.

wij hebben een maand lang mogen verblijven op deze prachtige plek. we hebben er online gewerkt en na het werk genoten van de tuin, het bos en de prachtige omgeving met veel kastelen. Patrick en Benny zijn zeer gastvrij. We hebben genoten hun gezelschap en dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van de goede tips van de omgeving.

We stayed at Baulay for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to experience Patrick and Benny’s superb hospitality and relax in the idyllic picturesque setting. Well situated within a comfortable drive to several chateaus and other sites of interest while offering an ideal haven after a day's outing or to simply spend a tranquil day in the garden or walk in the woods. During our time at Baulay we were fortunate to get to know Patrick and Benny and share good wine and food. A truly memorable experience in the Loire countryside and highly recommended for short or long stays.
