Great wee place if you want a little tranquility and the large decking is a really good spot to sit and watch the sun go down. Jon is very friendly and completely on it, regarding looking out for his guests, appeared within minutes when our gas bottle ran out. The cabin as I called it is comfy and homely and we had everything we needed except scissors 😂 I always need a pair of them… Would love to return Thank you Jon.

Great spot, excellent host. Exactly as described. We would be sure to use again next time we are in the area, Jon goes above and beyond.

Really liked our stay at Jon's place, quiet and peaceful with nice view of neighbouring paddock. Also appreciated the enclosed garden fence, which gave our dog freedom to be outside and not wander off.

Another great stay - such a relaxing peaceful base to explore the island - beautiful surroundings with plenty of wildlife - actually saw a red squirrel at last ! 😁 Great friendly host - we will be back ! Thanks John 😀

Really lovely little place. Tucked away up a little lane. Just far enough out of town for peace and quiet but close enough to the shops if you need them. Nice central location on the island. Clean and tidy. Unfortunately, we only managed to sit outside once due to the weather, but it was still a lovely hideaway. Jon is very friendly and helpful too. All in all, it's a great spot to stay.
