Absolutely wonderful resort-like home on the peaceful Current River. It was the best possible location for our Eclipse celebration. Plenty of flexible options for sleeping and a large open areas both indoors and out for lounging. The professional grade 6-burner range with griddle and two ovens made cooking for our crowd a real pleasure. Best of all, Charles communicated very clearly and responded rapidly whenever we had a question. Highly recommend this gracious host and his fabulous home.

Charles was an amazing host! He gave us perfect directions to his beautiful home. We were right on the river and we enjoyed being so close for the kids and adults to enjoy the river. It was perfect for our large group of friends to spend the weekend. He also went out of his way to try and find other open places for some of our other friends to join us. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay after rocky start with blocked septic which was addressed 2nd morning. we shared silverware until Charles later supplied us the next day. we had a group of 15 and expected to be able to accommodate us all. We enjoyed waterfront, found swimming hole just upriver 1 house. there was sandbar(rock) to wade and play on 1 house downriver. It was too hot to use tables outside for 2 days, table inside provided 4 chairs and 3 stools at the counter. Smoke alarm mounted over door next to kitchen range went off every time we were using the range with fan full on. TV in bedroom behind kitchen had no power cord nor receptacle. we were unable to find or figure out speaker system to pair with in living space. Ice maker and water to fridge doesn't work leaving us only coolers and trips into town daily for ice, as 1 refrigerator not big enough for 15. A fridge and or ice maker on lower level would be nice to have, we brought some water toys , life jackets for kids. Felt at home.

It was a great cabin. Very spacious and a great location on the river. Correspondence and check-in process were very good. No issues at all and we made some lasting memories!

Beautiful place and perfect location. The waterfront access was amazing. The GPS was not helpful getting there, but Charles' directions were super helpful. Would definitely recommend!
