The setting is picture perfect, the bed is the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in, and the hot water shower finished the night wonderfully! Think of the site as you are camping and they provided the large furnishings aka tent, chairs, setting, plates, utensils, bed, fan, toliet and shower... you provide firewood, hatchet, food, fishing poles, paper towels, bring a wagon to tote in your cooler and firewood. Pro of being close to town is less commute to arrive/ con you do hear the highway and sirens even at night. Knowing those items and planning ahead would make this site idealistic!
The place was great! Placed prefect for a little getaway while still being close to everything. Would recommend for others to come experience the tent. Host is very accommodating and great communication

We arrived and the tent wasn't locked as it should be, I realized that the zipper was broken and the tent wasn't closing completely.I reported this to them and was told that someone would go fix it, no one came. We spent 3 nights with the tent open and unlocked, on the last night we had a visit from a coyote, we were terrified because the tent wasn't closed as it should be.Does not match the photos or descriptions. The tent is very old and smells like mold, the towels smell like cockroaches.The bathroom is very rustic, you need to use bags in the toilet bc there is no way to flush, this was never mentioned. It’s also not as tranquil as you would expect,you hear the train all night and motorcycles and gunshots during the day. Advice, take your pans with you, bc the description says they have, but the truth is that you will have to go to the nearest Walmart to buy pans if you want to cook.The place is so small that I have no idea how the place can support 4people as the description say.
If you are looking for a cheap and new experience, this will be great! Nature feels with a touch of home feels. However was not at all fond of so many spider webs and spiders everywhere, I have a huge fear! Bring plenty of ice if you are staying in the summer or be prepared to make trips for it. It rained while we were there and the rain sounds were extremely soothing
