We stayed here for peace and quiet. Megami is such a wonderful host. She worked in New Zealand for 2 years so her English is amazing and she was so wonderful to talk to. She even called a hotel 100km north that we really wanted to stay at but couldn’t contact from Australia, and she confirmed our accommodation there. Her service and assistance was incredible. The whole experience was so easy. We would definitely go back again even if just to have a wonderful conversation. Meg also prepared a lovely breakfast that was so filling we didn’t eat again until dinner!

Es war so ein toller Aufenthalt bei Megumi - ich habe so eine Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft noch bei keinem anderen AirBnB erlebt! Ich war 3 Übernachtungen in Megumis Haus und ich würde immer wieder dort hinfahren. Megumi hat mich am Bahnhof abgeholt und wieder zurück gebracht, sie hat ein fantastisches Frühstück gemacht und war jederzeit gut erreichbar. Ein ganz toller Aufenthalt- werde ich nie vergessen!!!

Megumi is the kindest, sweetest host. Helpful and considerate from the moment we first communicated it felt as if we knew each other before we met. Her wooden home was built for her family and is cozy, quaint and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a gentle insight into a beautiful part of Japan and experiencing Megumi’s warm hospitality.

家族旅行で利用しました。 家族は民泊経験がなく不安もあったようですが、めぐみさんのお人柄とすてきな内装にすぐに安心できたようです。 宿へはレンタカーでアクセスしました。細い道を進んだ先にあり車の運転が不慣れな場合は少し怖いかもしれません。 静かなロケーションですが、徒歩圏内に地元のみなさんで人気の飲食店が何軒かあり、コンビニも徒歩圏内です。 車を出せば指宿や開聞岳、温泉など観光地もあります。指宿の砂蒸し風呂は21時頃までやっているので宿に遅く到着しても十分楽しむことができます。 朝食はめぐみさん手作りのヘルシーなご飯で、おしゃべりをしながらおいしくいただきました。 ゲストのことをとても気遣ってくださっているのですが、自然で押し付けがましくなくリラックスできました。 鹿児島観光にとてもおすすめです。
