This home was the perfect getaway for my family of 6. We reserved it for the whole month of July. The house was nice, there were some ants (common for tropical settings) and Mary had a pest control company out the next day to take care of it. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, and the patio was the perfect place to sit out and relax. They provided a lot of amenities, floats and even a kayak! We enjoyed playing corn hole in the evenings and walking to the park just a 5 min walk away. I would highly recommend this place to any friends. The only negative thing about the home was the dog hair in the home if you have an allergy I wouldn't recommend this space. It wasn't excessive just needed a better cleaning under furniture, baseboards etc but for the price and the location I would highly recommend this place if you're considering it!

This place was perfect for us. The house has a lovely setup, super comfy beds and a nice open kitchen/living room area that makes for a good hangout spot. Calm and quiet neighborhood with Big Pine Key Park within walking distance, 4 minute drive to a grocery store, short drive to Bahia Honda beach and you can easily make your way to Key West or Marathon if you so choose. We definitely recommend.

The house was great for our month stay. It was the perfect location. Mary Lynn was very quick to respond to any questions we had. There was a notebook with recommendations from previous guests with suggestions of things to do.

I loved spending 4.5 weeks in the lower Keys! Big pine key was a great location, a 5 to 10 minute drive to great snorkeling, beaches, restaurants , etc. my favorite activities were 1.) snorkeling at horseshoe beach, 2.) swimming at Pine channel Nature park, 3.) Bahia Honda & Veterans beaches, 4.) biking around Marathon + Islamorada, 5.) skydiving, 6.) glass bottom Catamaran in Key West, 7.) butterfly conservatory in Key West and 8.) snorkel trip to Looe Reef! There were many positive things about house: bedrooms were spacious, loved open air kitchen, and it had everything you needed, and balcony. Super comfortable beds/pillows! Disclaimers: I was disappointed in a couple things, and lack of response/issue resolution /sense of urgency about them from host. 1.) Bikes weren’t in working condition, had to pay to get one tuned so I could use. 2.) was killing 8-10 red ants a day, got rid of after I bought ant traps twice. 3.) excessive cat hair. I expected more with how much I paid.
