A great location to meet with family or with friends. More space than you’d expect from the pictures, with lots of corners to sit, hide, talk and areas to play games or to do sports. Nice billiard table. Nice pool. Nice garden, that is very well maintained. Big table to fit lots of people. The whole region is beautiful with not very many foreign tourists. Fresh roles in the mornings. Excellent host who does care about their house a lot. We’d choose this place again for sure. You can feel how it is a family holiday retreat for the host and you can easily connect to this. Things to consider: only small supermarkets in the villages around - if you need special supplies bring them. The house is reached via a very steep single lane road - you should have some confidence in your driving skills. The two master bed rooms’ en suite bathrooms are only separated from the main room by a semi-open saloon type “door” - some people may find the resulting closeness to their (room)mate challenging.

Нам очень понравился дом и особенно лужайка и бассейн. Мы проводили на улице все время. Это было одно из лучших путешествий на север Португалии. Я мечтаю о такой даче, как этот дом Патрисии. Мы очень хотим вернуться!

Our stay in Geres was wonderful. The house is beautiful and spacious and we had plenty of rooms for all 9 adults and baby. We bbq’d some nights and ate out a couple of times, but found it so lovely to be in the house for playing games and sitting stargazing and enjoying the quietness. Patricia was very quick in responding to any queries, We were met by Jose and his family when we arrived and given any info. Wonderful holiday and we will certainly return to this stunning area of Portugal. Thankyou .
