Black mold in the passage ceiling/skylight area. Place smelled damp on entry. Was closed up completely, not aired. Damp on walls. Very little maintenance. Kitchen well equipped but extremely old. Fridge freezer was old and started making noises and died late into the evening and tripped the power. Tried called to find out where the DB box was and Anneke put the phone down on me. So all my freezer food defrosted and perishables like milk went sour. After spending nearly 4 incredibly frustrating hours trying to get help from AirBNB to get alternative accommodation, and then the electricity tripping, I lost my cool with the host. This was my most frustrating ABNB and accommodation experience ever. Airbnb should be getting old places for things like black mold as it’s incredibly dangerous to one’s health. I started an itchy throat within a short time of being there and coughing the same evening. This cottage should be inspected for black mold. Host +ABNB need accountability.

we had good stay. Tia was a wonderful host. The place is spacious and comfortable, although dated, and the kitchen is well equipped! lovely garden for our little doggy as well.
