Unfortunately, we had some issues due to extremely heavy rainfall but the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We appreciate these issues were completely out of his control and yet he went out of his way to resolve. The place itself was great and had everything you would need. beautiful location and would recommend!

Ryan was super accommodating. This was a return visit to Glencolmcille for me….simply checking out a place for sale with a relative. Wonderful part of the world for those who enjoy rural settings, small villages, kind people, majestic landscapes and superb hiking, beaches and ever changing skies. The Oideas Gael language school tops it all off.

L’appartement est grand et bien localiser dans une beau petit village mais il n’etait pas propre. La laveuse ne fonctionnait pas bien ou ??? et il devait selon l’annonce y avoir une sécheuse. Il n’y avait pas d’eau chaud à l’exception de la douche, chauffe-eau pour celle-ci. Il y avait aucune instruction relative à l’appartement: fonctionnement de la laveuse et eau chaude peut-être. Nous n’avons pas vraiment apprécié notre séjour là-bas. Nous n’avons pas ressentie que Ryan avait une préoccupation pour ces invités. Dommage…

I stayed in this flat for three weeks while attending Irish language courses at Oideas Gael in Glencolumbkille. It was an ideal place to use as a base of operations - quiet, private, and a quick 5-minute bicycle ride (maybe a 15 / 20-min walk) from the main shop and pubs in the village. I felt absolutely at home for the three weeks, and would definitely stay again. Quick note for anyone that might need to work or otherwise access the internet while travelling: the broadband coverage in this part of Glencolumbkille is very spotty, but there are cafes in town with wifi networks you can use.
