Hello Mountain Lovers, Whether in winter or in summer nature is something beautiful. Right next to Carinthia's largest ski resort Nassfeld, we have renovated the former primary school and build five cosy apartments for your perfect mountain holiday. In spirit of the former primary school each apartment is called Class 1 to 5 (Klasse in German) . The house is located at the heart of the village surrounded by farmers and their little shop (Hofladen in German). The house is located at the heart of the village of Rattendorf. Surrounded by farmhouses, the houses served as primary school from 1873 to 2010. Due to fewer children in the neighborhood and an education reform the school was closed. For two years the house was abandoned. Family Soelle bought and renovated the place by turning it into five spacious apartment. Two out of five apartments are accessible for people with disabilities. Next to the house guests have their own parking spot and bike/ ski storage

My family and I recently stayed at Victoria's place in the beautiful village of Rattendorf and it was a truly remarkable experience. The property, which was once an old school, has been beautifully renovated and maintained to provide all the modern amenities while retaining its unique character. It's conveniently located close to the ski area, and we were also given access to a ski depot which was incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, Victoria made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our two small dogs also had a wonderful time and felt right at home, with their own fenced garden to run and play in. The village of Rattendorf added to the charm of the trip, providing a peaceful and serene environment that we all needed. We highly recommend this airbnb and Victoria as a host to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. We will definitely come back Thank you, Victoria, for making our trip unforgettable!

Rattendorf is a tiny mountain and farmer's village. Most of the buildings are historic. At Rattendorf you find the peace of the countryside while being right next to Carinthia's largest skiing resort.
There is a carport next to building, where you have free parking and your lockable bike/ski storage room. In the winter you can take the free ski bus to access the ski area Nassfeld (3-5min drive). The house is located at the Gailtal Radweg, the 100+ km bike route from Villach to Koetschach- Mauthen.

Victoria is an Austrian mountain girl who has travelled and lived on three continents, currently living in Milan. The apartments in the ski area Nassfeld are her familys, who are the pioneers bringing skiing to Nassfeld. The house SÖLLE HOMES NASSFELD is the second oldest house of the ski resort. It started out as a container for the ski school and over the course of 20 years became the regions one-stop-stop. Today being the home of a 15 apartments, a supermarket, the skischool, ski/bike rental and a sport store. The house SÖLLE HOMES RATTENDORF used to be the primary school, where Victoria‘s mother Ruth went to school and when it was sold in 2014 the family decided to buy and renovate the building. And put apartments in there. In the house guests will encounter objects that recall its past.
