This place was amazing !!! I’ve dreamt of staying in a house boat since I was a little girl and this was everything I could’ve wanted and more. Kelly Jane was so accommodating, understanding, and kind. My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful anniversary exploring Pittsburg and calling this houseboat our home base for a weekend. Thank you so much Kelly Jane !!!!

This was the best AirBnB experience I’ve had. The houseboat is in a beautiful marina. The kayaking, local music, and food truck at the top of the hill were a huge bonus. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and gave great recommendations. We will absolutely visit again.

The houseboat was very nice. It was wonderful for a weekend getaway and I could have stayed even longer. You literally don’t have to pack anything. There were travel size products in the bathroom if needed. Also body wash, shampoo and crème rinse. The shower was very clean. There is coffee and snacks. The set up is nice and the top deck is perfect when the bands play. It gets really busy at the patio area and the pizza is very good. We caught a really beautiful sunset cloud arrangement. There was no difficulty with privacy at all. Blinds around entire boat. The only drawback was kayaking wasn’t available on Saturday but that is not something they could control. The river was high and swift. We did have our own kayak and we launched off the dock. We asked for the float pad that is mentioned in the post but it washed downstream 3 years ago. if that or the island are deal breakers, verify they will have those items there. Every single employee at the marina was helpful and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay on the Oolikhanna houseboat. We’re glad we stayed through the week (Tuesday and Wednesday nights), because it was very quiet and peaceful and private. The houseboat has plenty of room and all of the amenities one could want. The window unit air conditioner kept the boat comfortable day and night in late-August. We took out a tandem kayak on Wednesday afternoon and appreciated the excellent equipment, instruction, maps and assistance. We had an enjoyable couple of hours kayaking up around Sycamore Island and elsewhere in the area. We walked to Burgh Thai for dinner. We loved the food so much we ate dinner there the second night, as well. We also walked to Inner Groove Brewing and had a couple of pints and enjoyed the atmosphere. We were pleased to find public pickleball courts very near the 10.7 Marina, too. Overall, the Oolikhanna experience was fun, relaxing and a nice getaway to celebrate my birthday.
