I am a father of three grown up children and grandfather of two. A quadruple graduate, I am a Youth Worker by profession and have been involved in the profession since 1987. I am passionate about humour and music, an avid reader and enjoy writing, having published books in 2008, 2011 and 2020. I'm a Liverpool supporter (don't hold that against me), I play indoor football to try and stay reasonably fit, I like to travel, enjoy good conversation and I'm curious about life in general. I'm conscientious, look after my surroundings, clean up after myself, I'm relatively easy going and I like to chill out over a cuppa or a beer. My mottos/mantras is/are: 'It is what it is', 'Humour is the shortest distance between people', 'There are always people worse of than you' and 'don't go to a party you're not invited too.'
