We had a fantastic stay at The Hideaway for a week's getaway as a group of 8. The house was so spacious and comfortable and made a great base for exploring the surrounding area!

Place is lovely, the welcome warm. Had an issue with water pressure which took 24 hrs to sort out but Moose came to the rescue. We’d asked for the hot tub which was used by the younger members of the family. It was snowing on the Friday, sunny on the Saturday but windy which made it cold too. Getting to and back from the hot tub was chilly, chilly, chilly. Remember to pack a warm dressing gown and shoes that can get wet as the hot tub is farthest away from access to the house. The post code on google sends you to the farm next door, so we suggest you ignore the last turning and take the next which has the name of the place at the road end. If you use what.3.words it’s : eagle.baker.warns, good app for your phone. Bea and Moose are lovely and live in the house next to the hideaway. Ask how to adjust the thermostats for the underfloor heating and you won’t need the log fire. If you want to use the look fire you’ll need to bring wood and kindling with you. Loved our stay.

We had a lovely family stay here for my mum’s birthday! It was a beautiful setting and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Beautiful house, the pictures don’t do it justice. Had a fabulous girly weekend, the open plan layout was perfect for my hen celebration. The host was always on hand if needed.
