A newly renovated, cozy studio, ideal for a couple, in the very heart of the scenic Gavalochori village! A great choice for couples and friends looking for an authentic Cretan village stay and just a 7min drive from the nearest sandy beach! Located half an hour away from Chania center, close to many more beaches and to great historical and natural sights! TV, Wifi & air condition available! This is a newly renovated and 20m2 studio right in the main square of Gavalochori village! It can accommodate up to 2 persons in one double bed while an extra baby cot can be accommodated upon request. It offers a mini fridge, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine. A modern bathroom with shower cabin is available. Apokoronas is a region which extends to the northeastern part of the prefecture of Chania, by the foothills of the White Mountains to the north coast of Crete. It is characterized by its picturesque villages, the green hills and the fertile tracts of land, due to the abundance of water coming from the mountains, creating the only natural lake of Crete, as well as rivers which run through the region. There are also bus stops with frequent routes to Chania. At the nearby seaside town of Kalyves (8,4km) there is a wide range of shops and services, ATMs and pharmacies and of course lovely organized beaches with water sports facilities. πολύ όμορφο χωριό γραφικό και ήσυχο πάντα επιλέγω να μένω στα χωριά όταν ταξιδεύω σε μεγάλα νησιά καθώς έτσι βλέπεις την αυθεντικότητα του τόπου αλλά πέρα από αυτό έχει περισσότερη ησυχία (όπου αυτό αναζητώ) και τέλος έχει καλύτερη θερμοκρασία από ότι έχει στις περιοχές με πολύ κόσμο.
Kiriakos war ein super freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er hat uns mit allem geholfen und war immer erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Sehr gemütlich und sauber. Die Gegend rund um die Unterkunft ist ruhig. Es gibt aber viele Restaurants die zu Fuß gut erreichbar sind. Mit dem Auto bist du in ca 7 Minuten am Meer. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder! Danke für alles!!!
A brilliant location in the village- across the road from two tavernas, a short walk to the shops, Historical Folklore Museum, Old Olive Press, and not far from the Venetian wells. Plus if you like walking an hour to the beach on the back road to Almerida or up to the mountains above.
