My wife and i needed to get away from out house/home for a few days. To be in a place quiet, private and while close to activities not in the middle of actions/activities. Jennifer's place was all we could ask for. quaint, a wee walk back in a time where it all seemed so simple. It was also my wife's birthday so Jennifer help me provide flowers and a charcuterie board so when we walked it - surprise!!! it was all we wished for and thank you Jennifer
Lovely place and excellent host. Beautiful location on the river. The cottage is named the woodpecker and there were real woodpeckers all around.
Jennifer was the perfect hostess! The home was beautiful and extremely peaceful. No Wi-Fi and we were thankful for the break from society in order to reconnect with each other.
This was, hands down, one of my most favorite stays anywhere! The cottage is exquisite—so beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting—and the seclusion of it adds to the appeal. All the details of fresh flowers, candlelight, and serene music added to the charm. It was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable and relaxing. The hundreds of books on history and local color were so intriguing and were such a nice touch. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer! We will definitely be returning once the weather cools off a bit so that we can enjoy the porch and fire pit.
