Fantastic location and very peaceful surroundings. If you want to get away from the crowds then we recommend this place. It has footpaths across the land that connect local villages and is close enough to walk around Elterwater with ease. It's a short drive (less than 10 mins) to Ambleside for shopping and groceries. The bed is very comfortable and there's no noise at night or in the mornings. Perfect for a couple who want a short break.

We had a great couple of nights. Cosy space and lovely and warm on an evening. Will definitely recommend. Baby gate on the kitchen is a great idea for keeping the dogs out of the living space / bedroom area.
