Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! I am a super host of two properties: STACY’S SANDHILLS STAY in Ericson, Nebraska and THE HONEY BEE COTTAGE just 24 miles down the road in Burwell, Nebraska. A little bit about myself... I am a music educator at Central Valley Schools in Greeley, NE. I grew up in Ericson and spent a lot of time in Burwell showing horses, going to the movies at the Rodeo theater and hanging out with friends there. Both communities are near and dear to my heart. The Airbnb house in Ericson (STACY'S SANDHILLS STAY) is our childhood home, so it is a very special place to me and my sisters. It is named in memory of our sister Stacy who loved the Sandhills and sadly passed in a car accident when she was 17. I recently bought the HONEY BEE COTTAGE in Burwell as I fell in love with its charm and the peaceful and quiet neighborhood where it sits. Sharing our sandhill's homes with others is so very rewarding and we love hosting folks who are visiting while providing them a great place to stay. Aside from being an airbnb host and music educator, I am also a professional vocalist. I have my own production company JULIE BAKER ENTERTAINMENT and specialize in writing, recording and producing my own music and music videos. Music is my life and it all started with humble beginnings right here in the Sandhills. I started singing at the Ericson Methodist church on Sunday mornings and would sit in with the bands that would come to play in town on Sunday nights at the Hungry Horse Saloon, also in Ericson. (Which has great prime rib, by the way!) I love meeting new people and have a great appreciation for diversity while experiencing different cultures and people of all walks of life. That is one of the reasons why being an Airbnb host is so great as it provides an opportunity to meet new people! My sisters and I have a passion for hospitality and we are continuously striving to improve the experience of our guests. Our goal is to give our guests the kind of experience we ourselves would desire while traveling. Life is all about making memories and it is so fulfilling to have the opportunity to provide a wonderful place for our guests to make those memories. We feel blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful place and we love sharing it with others. We sincerely appreciate you considering booking a stay with us in Ericson or Burwell.
