We had a lovely stay at Burghley Mouse! The chickens were definitely the highlight. Thoroughly enjoyed the Prosecco hunt. The location of the Shepards Hut is very convenient, as we spent the day exploring Burghley house and gardens. Andrew responded straightaway to my messages and was very helpful. We will definitely return in the future! Thank you for the lovely stay.

Had an amazing stay. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely surroundings, with Stamford only a short drive away there was lots to do and the complementary eggs cider and apple juice was a lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, staying here is definitely a must!

This is the best place we have stayed in a long time, especially for the value! Helpful prior to arrival and during our stay, the hosts complimented the tranquility of the place and helped make our stay perfect. This place is a must for anyone wanting a getaway outdoors with the luxuries not normally afforded when doing so! Too many highlights to mention, but can’t not say huge thanks for the complimentary and delicious cider and eggs, you won’t be disappointed staying here. We will certainly be returning in the near future.

First time in a Shepherd's Hut and we really enjoyed it. It's the extras that really made it - the woodburner, the free Prosecco, cider, apple juices, the tandom and freshly-laid eggs. The mattress was really comfortable too - the whole thing was such a lovely, cosy experience. We walked to the White Hart and had a lovely meal there (we cycled there to make a booking earlier in the day) and enjoyed wandering around Stamford. All highly recommended.
