We had a fabulous time at this place. The house was welcoming and accommodated us perfectly. Beautiful view of the ocean from the living room. It’s location was perfect, close to the shops and restaurants. Chris is very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

A great house for 2 families with an extra area for the kids to relax downstairs. We loved the views and the openness of the living areas. The deck was popular for eating outside and taking in the sunsets and sunrise. The local Foodworks was within walking distance with the main shopping strip, eating precinct and main beach front a little further. Lots to do in the area for adults and kids. Not a lot of shade on the beach so highly recommend bringing a beach hut/cabana tent.

We booked 3 nights for 10 people. Location was great, very close to town. I was a underwhelmed at the state of the property. I believe the upstairs balcony is getting fixed , however, it's the little touches that make a place special. The week previous to going to Lorne, the 10 of us went to Phillip Island (read my review). It was comparable in price but a world away in every other respect. Things like the fly screen door is broken. The outdoor furniture was not put away and covered (which I have found at other properties) and because it's under a huge tree it had bird droppings all over them. Bedrooms- Underlays were dirty & stained, which was really gross. Some beds were fine (upstairs queen), but the people who slept on the queen downstairs said it was like sleeping on the floor. It was impossible to watch tv -we used a laptop to connect to tv. I know it said there's no WIFI but in 2024, this is basic, especially for the price. It was OK but for the price I would expect better.
