The host Daniel is exceptional. Very friendly and responsive. The kinda host you wouldn't mind inviting in. When I sent a message his response was immediate. Please understand the type of stay you are booking. It is a cabin stay. As such, it meets and exceeds expectations for a place where your dogs are welcome and you can relax. The lake is a very short walk and in view. The beds were comfortable and clean. All the cabin is as clean as a stay of this type should be. The couch was actually more comfortable than 90 percent of other home stays I have done and I have done a few. I was there to rest from a 12 hr drive but noticed another large family enjoying the firepit and games in the rec area. Priceless time for them I'm sure. Excellent host and stay.

Daniel was extremely easy to work with, and the cabin was very well maintained. The strip of beach was clean and very nice. The strip of beach is shared between all of the cabins, so we didn't have it to ourselves all of the time, but there were still plenty of amenities that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The cabin wasn't luxurious, but it was great for what it was, and we appreciated a place to cook, eat at a table, and relax. The check-in and checkout process was as easy as it gets

The location of the cabin is great! Beautiful views of the lake and a peaceful, quiet setting. My family and I loved the towns of Whitehall and Muskegon as the restaurants were great and there is a lot to do. The cabin itself has potential but is a work in progress. There were some broken floor tiles, a very small shower, and the water had a strong sulfur odor. The locking mechanism on the door is outdated and due to the door being heavy and unlevel, I significantly injured my finger when it closed. Daniel was very kind after being informed of the incident, offering to do what he could to accommodate the injury. I would advise those with little one's or really anyone in general to be aware of these safety concerns.

Easy check-in, clutter-free, loved the bbq space outside and the fireplace inside. Only 10mins from Michigan Adventure and breakfast recommendation for Homestead was great. Would definitely go back. Cute town!
