Central location and easy to find. But I would not describe the rooms as ‘boutique’ more like dated and in desperate need of an upgrade. Feels like a room from the 1980’s with a bathroom to match. The breakfast was a plastic covered croissant in a bowl and didn’t look appetising. The description needs changing and the price needs to reflect the quality of the room and breakfast… it is overpriced.

The rooms were lovely, but the best thing was the communal lounge that had a mini-snooker table which is something I hadn’t expected. The only issue I had was the mini fridge in the bedroom, which I’d have preferred not to be there because it switched on and off through the night, and I’m a very light sleeper. Overall, though, Station House was perfect for our needs, and the very kind acts of the host who upgraded the rooms for our second and third party members to give them both a private bathroom was just lovely! I'd like to say a big thank you to the station house , I feel totally rested and pampered, the amount of effort everyone gives to ensuring their visitors are made welcome and enjoy a superb stay in a beautiful house and location is ten out of ten . Well Done , Loved it .

This is a great find right in the middle of South Brent. Perfectly situated near shops, pub and of course this accommodation has a cafe downstairs. Room was warm, clean and very spacious.

We spent three nights at Station Hotel, and had no major issues. However we were advised that we were staying in the Ivybridge room, only to find someone else inhabiting that room. Apparently our room had been changed and we had not been advised. The Kingsbridge room was large and comfortable, although the radiators were always cold, and the extra portable radiator wasn't particularly effective. As a result the room felt slightly damp. The shower was good, with plentiful hot water. The room was clean and I was pleased to see hand gel there. The bed is quite squeaky so disturbed our sleep quite a bit. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, and the ability to have fresh milk rather than tiny UHT cartons. The presence of the small snooker table was good, and the Quiet Carriage is certainly a comfortable space. We found parking a bit hit and miss - the railway station car park was usually full, and street parking was very limited. However we would return if we were in the area.
