We truly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Island Cottage, the cottage met all our needs. we were happy to experience the short distance from the cottage to the shops. We also, took full advantage of the magnificent views and great food from Buoy Shack.

I was visiting for work and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the cottage...it's in an odd spot. As I got more familiar with the surroundings I really enjoyed the location. You can see the bridge into Portsmouth from the cute nook. Walking there and into Kittery Forside is quick and easy. So many great restaurants to go to. I was here for the crazy Spring weather. Rain, snow, wind... all of it. I always felt comfortable and cozy in the house. The heat works great. This is a very quiet, safe and peaceful place to stay. I never needed to correspond with Will. All the information I needed was on a printout in the kitchen. The house is well equipped with most things. I did buy a cheese grater and a bottle scrub brush! The only thing I would say to be wary of is that the stairs up to the bedroom and down to the basement are very steep... if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, a super place to stay in Maine! I hope to come again during a different season.

Great spot, with views and walkable distance to downtown to enjoy the shops and restaurants. Quiet and private area just outside of many places to enjoy. Could tale a night in or a fun night out. Couldn't be a better time from home.

Great little cottage conveniently located near Portsmouth and kittery. Kitchen is well stocked with basics like flour, sugar, and spices. Will brought us a dozen eggs from their coop which we throughly enjoyed! I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Bluetooth speaker and bathroom toiletries. Overall had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back to this badgers island cottage!
