There are amazing views from the mountains and valleys in the immediate vicinity to explore on foot or on mountain bikes in order to spot wildlife and take in the breathtaking views. We are happy to accompany you on guided walks and bike rides at a minimal cost on request. There is a traditional Spanish bar on the rambla approximately 20-30 mins walk. Oria village is 10kms and Albox town is 11kms away.
Oria: Oria has their market on a Sunday and their stunning church is open at 11am that day too. Worth a visit. The village also has a couple of banks, small supermarkets and a good variety of bars plus an excellent Carrefour shop next to the petrol station.
Albox: Albox is a larger town with all the facilities anyone should need including their markets on a Tuesday and Saturday, all the larger supermarkets, banks, beautiful church, many squares and bars, eateries, public swimming pool and bowling alley.
The coast is approximately a 45 minutes drive. Beaches are many including Mojácar, Villaricos, Vera, San Juan plus many more down along the Cabo de Gata.

Very occasionally, our rambla floods if we get heavy rain but we can assist with any access issues that may arise regarding this. Although rare, it adds to the charm of our neighbourhood and is part of everyday life here.

As guests, a car is essential. You will enjoy private parking at our house. We live in a very rural location up a dirt track which should not cause issues for most cars unless you have a very low sports car in which case you may wish to drive with extra caution. We will message you with directions the day before you arrive. Sat Navs and GPS are not reliable in order to find us.
