Amazing lodge for a getaway! Great privacy and the host was very responsive. Be sure to check out the pool too which is off the property but amazing. Very green lands all around the lodge. A little bumpy roads to get to the property but it’s very much worth it!
Simple, comforting, full of heart and soul, and provides everything that you didn't even know you needed. Jorge (the host), Pablo (our driver), and Maria (our cook) were all amazing and helpful. They felt like family. And Mahar, our contact, was always helpful and responsive with everything that we needed. The lodge is beautiful, beds are comfortable, water is hot, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the view, birds, and animals are impressive. A beautiful place to experience Costa Rica off the beaten path. And that said, the road up to it is quite rough. Just be prepared for that, and that it's not a quick run to town to get supplies or go to the wellness centre (it wasn't as accessible as we initially thought). And you do have to be mindful of ants in the lodge (like most tropical places). A wonderful place to reset and connect to nature while still being close enough to do day trips to La Fortuna and Rio Celeste. We enjoyed our time here.
Hands down, beauty home and views. If I could give this home a 20 I would. Mahar was great setting us up. Jorge took care of all us woman. Sandro our driver was the kindest and patient man. Maria and Ana!! Food made with love!!! The whole week almost every meal they cooked for us. We couldn’t have asked for better people to help host our retreat. Ours Vida!!
I hosted a retreat here, both I and the girls fell in love with this place!! The girls could not spot raving about how beautiful the lodge was. It was the perfect place with the views, private room balconies, farm lunches, pool and labyrinth. And that’s not even all of it!!! So so grateful to have found this gem. Mahar was so responsive and we were so grateful to have him and Jorge!! We will definitely be coming back soon!! Perfect for big groups or retreats🤍
