This cabin was such a gem! It is located within 25 min of several cities/towns for supplies, shopping, etc. It’s so quiet and peaceful out there. The walk to the river will give you a little workout but it’s so worth it! The fishing was great and it’s so beautiful down there! If you take your time and bring some water, it’s just fine! We did it every day we were there! There’s plenty of sticks to build a campfire outside. The porch swing was amazing for morning coffee. There’s numerous options for heat/cold to keep you comfortable inside. This is rustic (the appeal for us) so don’t be surprised if you see a stink bug or spider. Also bring tick spray for the walk down the path to the river. We lucked out and had some rain one night and that sound on the metal roof… best sleep ever!!

Great place to stay if you are looking to soak in some time in the beauty of nature and get away from the busyness of the world. Have a perfect porch overlooking the river and for catching gorgeous sunrises. Monica is a great host.

We had a great time at the cabin! It was private and scenic. It was a great place to bring our kids and dogs who had a wonderful time exploring the space around the cabin.
