The house was as stated,very very clean and well kept and a beautiful area to stay while touring Skye.The other bonus was the views from the house and the sofa couches were to die for after a long day

Josephine’s place is just as described and feels like home. It is impeccably clean with everything you need for your stay. The instructions are clear on how to check in and Josephine’s guide book on the area is very helpful. She is very responsive during the stay and was extremely proactive. The location of the property is ideal for exploring the Isle of Skye and there is a beautiful view of the Castle out the window. Off road parking was handy. Josephine has thought of everything and we had a very comfortable stay. Would love to visit again!

Sehr gepflegtes, geräumiges und blitzsauberes Haus mit Blick auf Eilean Donan Castle. Perfekt gelegen für Ausflüge nach Skye, Loch Ness oder Torridon. Sehr bequeme Betten. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht und ist bestens ausgestattet. Die Heizung funktioniert zuverlässig, es ist gemütlich warm. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig und wir haben bestens geschlafen. Zum berühmten Eilean Donan Castle sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir würden Josephines Haus sofort wieder buchen!

The cottage is cosy, comfortable, and cute. The location is perfect for exploring the Isle of Skye. Josephine is an amazing host. Very proactive and goes above and beyond. I would definitely stay again!

I have been to Eilean Donan Castle a couple of times previously but never stayed at a location so near the castle! Josephine’s lovely house is the perfect base for exploring Eilean Donan Castle and Isle of Skye. The house is warm and cosy when we arrived late - check in instructions was very clear and we had no issue finding the place. The upper landing have perfect views of the Castle. Josephine is a very responsive and helpful host. She provided useful local tips and in the house there is instruction manual that is very handy and a lot of information about things to do in the area. Having been on a trip for almost 3 weeks and staying in various airbnb / hotels / lodging, this house offers a very unique experience of being very close to the well renowned Eilean Donan Castle. Highly recommended to book your stay here. We only stayed for two nights and had to leave with a heavy heart but we left with very fond memories of the place, the castle, Dornie Village and the people ☺️
