If you want to explore Crete it's also the perfect point because it's in the center of the island 1min by car from the National Road is just 14min about by car from Heraklio. Bellevue is a complex of suites and apartments on an elevated position on the hill exactly over Lygaria Bay, in 7000 sqm. land and is surrounded by olive trees and Cretan herbs! From the big swimming pool area you can overlook the bay of Ag. Pelagia, Lygaria, and Dias Island. The place is known as one of the most beautiful coastal towns on Crete,. We totally enjoyed our stay at BelleVue it exceeded all expectations. The location was beautiful, the apartments were immaculate and beautifully decorated by Fofi. George and Fofi were excellent hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful, welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts and evening meals they made themselves were also delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.
This place is like an oasis on the hill with a beautiful view. The pool is shared but it was always super calm there and everyone could be in private. You need to be fit to make it back from the beach uphill but it is worth it! George was the loveliest host - he gave us great tips and helped us with everything. The food in his taverna was amazing and the sunset stunning! I would immediately come again to relax at Bellevue.
George and his family were amazing hosts from the day we arrived ‘till the day we left. We were welcomed very nicely and got a tour with extra information about the area. The appartement we stayed in was very clean and had an amazing view just like the pictures. Everything you need is within walking distance (groceries, the beach, restaurants, etc.) and the food was also really good at the bnb. If you have any questions, George will always answer really fast and help you with anything you need. We highly recommend host!
George and Fofi are simply great at what they do. They were very accommodating, and we felt just at home. I recommend staying here, we will definitely like to come back at some point.

There are a few charming small and gravel bays with Crystal Clear,Calm Sea that are perfect for swimming,you have just to choose one!!! You can also explore near places walking in to the nature.... In 5-6 min on foot from our privat natural path you can find Lygaria Beach with taverna S.Market,and water sport ,its a nice calm beach the other way there is Agia Pelagia .
The parking area is next to our entrance we’re the sign of Bellevue is situated,
You can park right or left of the entrance.
The bus stop to Heraklion or Rethimno or Chania is 5-7 minute walk on highway .
To go to the beach of Ligaria or agia pelagia you can go by car or if you feel that you want to walk you can you use our nature path next to the swimming pool ,in 5 -7 minutes you will be at the beach of Ligaria and 15 minutes to agia pelagia village.

Hello my name is George James Pantouvakis. Born in England(Brighton) Come to Greece when i was 6 years old. Build with my familly slowly a small complex of apartments& rooms in the center of Crete near the fishing village of agia pelagia. Like to read books and hear good music. During the winter I am a farmer, i have olive trees in Bellevue and two other places in Crete and we produce our fine organick-ecological olive oil, That we use for our cooking in our small tavern in bellevue (read reviews about our famous musaka and Kleftiko, roast Lamp etch )also we sell it in the olive oil market We also produce white wine( the Villano sort )and dry red wine and of course I must mention the secret production in end Octomper of our famous Crete Raki.(see photos) We would like to share with you a unique place in a small corner of heaven. Guests are always welcome in Bellevue. I consider guests as my friends above all. Owning Bellevue has given me the opportunity to meet so many people from all over the world - some who have become dear friends. I also have time to spend with my family. I look forward to meeting and hosting you at Bellevue!!!!!!!!
