Splendid stay at Ballyhoura Escape; our kids (boys ages 8 & 11) loved it as they had a full sized soccer net, basketballs & hoops, tricycle-go cart, 6 cats, and Daisy the most welcoming dog to pet! Not to mention all their miniature horses, chickens, goats, pigs, & cows. Anne took us on a little tour of the property & the boys got to feed all the animals - she also told us about a local playground just 5 minutes away by car which we didn’t get to as we had dinner at The Hunter’s Rest - approx. 20 minutes drive away but SO worth it! Try the seafood soup (creamy) & their award-winning Black and white pudding is to die for :). Coming from NJ this felt like home away from home; everything inside the room was spacious & pristine! My husband mentioned the bed was almost just his length (he’s right under 6 feet) & we weren’t exactly sure if the 1 pump left in the shower was shampoo or body wash/ or a combo of the 2. Thank you for the chocolate bunnies! We would definitely recommend!

L'alloggio era estremamente pulito e curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. I proprietari sono stati davvero gentilissimi. In camera avevano messo una cesta piena di giochi adatti all'età di nostra figlia e le hanno fatto trovare perfino un uovo di Pasqua!! Il giorno dopo ci hanno invitato ad andare con loro a dar da mangiare agli animali in fattoria ed è stato molto molto piacevole! Cortesia e gentilezza estrema! Davvero CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!! Mia figlia ha detto che la "cosa" piú bella della vacanza in Irlanda è stata EVA! La loro figlia! Davvero adorabile!

We loved our stay at Anne and William’s place. Very comfortable and the views were gorgeous. Best of all were the adorable farm animals! We got to go feed them and pet them and scratch behind their ears.. they were so cute! Anne and her family were friendly and helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay, loved all of the little touches! Beautiful lodge, Anne was an amazing host so thoughtful and friendly, thank you for the food and snacks! Would highly recommend! Loved the animals!!!

Myself and my daughters had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home. William gave us a tour of the farm which we very much appreciated. Fabulous room,very spacious for the 3 of us. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much for being great hosts. We know where to stay next time we are visiting.
