Lucy’s cottage is lovely, cosy and clean. It’s set off in a lovely remote location but not too far from the main road and local villages. Perfect welcome pack on arrival. Garden is very dog friendly so we didn’t need to worry especially during the night. Amazing views from the garden and lots of walks from the front door or a great base to explore the lakes or surrounding area. We looking forward to returning very soon.

A wonderful second stay for us. Brilliant walks on the door step, baby lambs all around us and suitably secure for our big dog. We will absolutely be back for a third visit.

This was our second stay at Lucy’s and we loved it. Weather wasn’t on our side but we were happy sitting by the fire and playing old board games. So perfect in any weather if you just want to unplug for a couple days and enjoy the peace or each others company. We’d recommend to anyone, especially those with dogs (and reactive or anxious dogs too- it’s so quiet and secluded, ours slept by the fire most of the time!). The gated garden is perfect for this too. We’ll definitely be back again!
