Lovely couple of nights at Bernie’s place. She was very responsive to our questions and recommended The Thatch for breakfast (best fresh-from-the-oven scones). On-site off-street parking is great. Beds were very comfortable and the house was cozy on the cool nights. The washer worked great for our small load of travel day clothes. The kitchen had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Bathroom perfectly met our needs. Would return for another stay in a heartbeat.

Bernie’s place is located just 5 minutes walk to the village. It has a very pretty view from the bedroom downstairs, which a very spacious room. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics.

Bernie is an amazing host. Loved all the recommendations of places to visit. House is super clean! Lovely and bright and spacious. Top marks all around!

We loved our stay at Bernie and her husband’s holiday suite. Lovely view of the river. The suite had every thing we needed. We especially appreciated the laundry facilities and nice bed linens. It was very spacious. We would definitely come again.
