The cottage is in the perfect location for walks and very close to Bala lake, where we spent the day kayaking. The chippy in Bala was also very good! The interior is lovely, kitchen very clean and had most of the equipment you’d need. Lisa left some delicious biscuits, tea, coffee and milk which was much appreciated. We loved the log burner and cosy living room. We were a little surprised at how small the main bedroom is, but I suppose it is to be expected in an old cottage, and due to there only being 2 of us, we could use the smaller room to store bags and clothes etc. However if there had been 3 of us, this would have felt very small. There were a number of pretty massive cobwebs and mould at the top of the chimney breast/ ceiling in the main bedroom, which was a little off putting at first. Everywhere else felt clean and comfortable. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Lovely location for pure escapism. Lisa is a great host and we would highly recommend this property for a relaxing break.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our trip to Wales and would recommend it to anyone in the future. Perfect idlic location which was so peaceful, easy to travel to via car and plenty of places around to go visit. The cottage was well equipped and the space was great! 10/10 from us.
