We had a memorable stay at Andy and Seona’s place. Andy met us when we arrived and was very friendly and welcoming. The building has been lovingly restored, and the grounds are beautiful. I loved the towering gum trees on the property. Mintaro is beautiful but has a laid back feel. We had an excellent meal at Magpie and Stump, just around the corner. It was also very easy to get to any of the other locations in the Clare valley. We went for a nice bush walk at Spring Gully Conservation Park, a short distance west, before stopping at a couple of nearby wineries

We really enjoyed our stay - so quiet & peaceful - a wonderful location! We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the breakfast provisions & local wine that was provided. We found the wines at Reilly's to be extremely good & enjoyed our visit to the Magpie & Stump pub as well. Highly recommend this accommodation!

Gorgeous little cottage, great location - no cooking facilities in kitchen, but so close to a great pub that it didn’t matter. And Seona left us a fresh warm loaf of homemade bread which was perfect with our cheese platter sitting out in the vines. Seona also stocks the place up with a great selection for a continental brekky. Would definitely visit again.
