Our stay at this villa was mixed. We stayed for 10 days with 3 adults and 3 children. The villa itself was nice for the most part. Sardinia is absolutely beautiful, and the location of the villa is great, close to many beaches and a small cute town. It is located in a safe community setting and has a grocery store in walking distance. The outdoor area was well situated and comfortable. The pool was nice and an absolute necessity. We were there during a heat wave and it was incredibly hot until the sun went down around 830pm, which made it difficult to eat at the outdoor table before then. The other issue with the outdoor space is that you can hear a hotel, conveniently called Club Hotel, until about 12am every evening (2am on weekends). If it is not loud music playing, it is someone yelling into a microphone. Another issue apparently caused by the heatwave, was that of an ant infestation throughout the house (mostly the kitchen and bathrooms). One evening they had even gotten into the master bed in which my 5 year old and I were sleeping in, which was concerning. The bedrooms were decently sized, however the mattress in the master was very stiff, so if you are someone who wants a softer mattress I would recommend sleeping in another bedroom, which was better. The host was fast to act on situations that arose and there was a maintenance person who came to try and get rid of the ants a number of times (some of which worked, but there were never not ants in the kitchen area). I know she also contacted the hotel, but do not think it is something that will be changing any time soon no matter how many complaints they receive. I urge anyone who is considering this home to read through every EXTRA they will be charged. I have rented many homes before on different platforms and have never been charged for things like electricity and water, which ended up costing hundreds more (and this was after turning off AC all day in the bedrooms) . There were also excursions/services booked through the host, which we did enjoy, but things like gas for the boat excursion, and food for the chef were extra. All of these things that must be paid in cash or via another payment service. Once we voiced our concerns to the host, I found her tone changed quite drastically. I am not sure if it was a language barrier, but I found the way in which she spoke to us quite rude and abrasive.

Beautiful house in best location. Many different beaches close to the house which everyone is absolutely amazing. Manuela is the best host and always available for some help or organising nice trips. We had an amazing time with the whole familiy. (8 adults, 2 kids) The service was so good. One of the best holidays we ever had. For sure we go again soon.

Manuela and the villa were absolutely stunning. A pure luxe retreat in nature. Absolutely breathtaking every part of the way. The pool.. the touches and linens.. the outdoor area and the cozy space. It was absolutely lovely.

Manuela is a very attentive host. She gave us numerous tips on restaurants and excursions, and even made the bookings for us. She is always very responsive (replies within 1 hour) and the minor issues we had, were fixed immediately. Also, when my husband had an injury, Manuela -who is a vet- kept in touch with him to make sure he got the right treatment.

Villa Morisca was an ideal accommodation for fun, rest and relaxation. Beautiful views and decorative details. Manuela is an exceptional host very responsive and made some great recommendations on local activities on and off the water. She became our Sardenga extended family which was nice to have being our first visit to this special island.
