We had a great holiday at the Pavillion in Sandsend - three generations of us! The house was very well equipped and there was plenty of room for eight people - all with our own facilities! It was tastefully furnished and very clean. Sandsend is an ideal location - a lovely walk to Whitby along the coast at low tide. Lots of places to visit on the coast both north and south - local buses being very useful. The wonderful North Yorkshire moors - great walking country - are easily accessed by car, or even rail. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

The Pavilion was ideal for our purpose and gave plenty of room for us all. Despite being January and the UK being hit by high winds, Sandsend was sheltered quite a bit. When booking, there was initially some confusion as the postcode listed was in Whitby. This was the only negative and as a family we would definitely look to book here again if we were arriving in the same numbers

What a fabulous place. We were a family of 7 with a 9 month old baby and a dog. The house is so well equipped and there is every piece of equipment possible in the kitchen. There were even toys for the baby. Spotlessly clean and very cosy and warm. The garden was huge with a view of the sea, would be a great spot in the summer. Amble parking at the bottom of the garden. Anne was very helpful and always responded very swiftly to any questions I had. Would definitely return to The Pavilion.

What a lovely comfortable place to stay. Clean and well equipped. Short walk to the beach with great little cafe at the bottom of the road. Only downside check in at 4.30 does seem rather late especially in winter as it’s dark when you arrive and front path could do with another light.
